My adopted son was left by a woman, possibly his birth mother, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She left him with a babysitter for a weekend when he was 2 1/2 months old, but was never heard from again. We adopted him on his first birthday, which was believed to be around August 15, 1980. The name of his birth mother may have been Shannon Parent and his birth father may have been Robert David MacIntyre. Our adopted son’s given names were Robert David.
