My name is Daphne and I am currently 21 years of age as I was born in 1999. I have had a traumatising childhood not knowing who my birth mother is after finding out from my aunty that I was an adopted child at the age of 13. I am still seeking for my birth mother and I hope I would eventually be able to get in contact with her as I have a 9 month old kid myself and I feel extremely hurt that I am unable to share this special moment with my birth mother. The only information that was given to me at the age of 13 when I found out that I was an adopted child‚ was that my birth mother was too young to have me and right at the same time‚ my current mother was unable to give birth due to complications‚ so my aunty Mary somehow found my birth mother in a specific area in Kuching‚ Sarawak namely Kenyalang‚ and that’s exactly how I was adopted.
