My fiancé is turning 29 next week and was adopted from Russia when she was 8. She remembers her father dying, mother leaving and grandmother taking her and her brother to different orphanages. She was returned from 2 different family and ultimately pawned off on a family that previously adopted another Russian girl. Those parents are very unique to put it nicely. Isolation, girls schools & home schooling. Mental and physical abuse. And now at 29 she has no one in the world, just me. We are hoping that maybe her brother may still be alive and possibly her mother. We know this will be tough but we are hoping for the best. Any help or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
