I was born in the village of Ayuta (Ayutinskaya) in the town of Shakhty in the Rostov region of Russia. I have no knowledge of my birth parents. According to translated documents I was left in a bag in or by a tree at the Ayutinskaya coal mining medical center on what was assumed to be my day of birth (October 10th‚ 2000). I was left with no identifying information from family or a given name. The name I had (Marina Alexandrovna Lubimova) was probably given by a hospital or orphanage worker. I was adopted and taken to the US in July of 2001.
