Hello‚ I was adopted from an orphanage outside Moscow‚ Russia when I was 5-years old. What I know: my parents were young‚ I have a biological sister that is at least 3+ years older than me. I know my parents brought me home from the hospital after birth and then were persuaded to give me up. I was born with congenital scoliosis. My birth name was Natalia‚ Natasha. Many families in the late 80’s were urged to give a medically complicated child up. They would be told the child will most likely not live very long or if they do‚ they will be a burden to the family financially etc… I am 39‚ living in the United States.
