My birth name was Codruta Horvath. My father’s name was Francis Horvath. My mother’s first name was Maria, on the court adoption papers they had different last names for her. I was born in tirnaveni, Transylvania, Romania. I had four or five other siblings (adoption papers didn’t say boys/girls). That’s all I know besides my birth parents came from a mud-straw hut, no running water or electricity. My adoptive mother is an American and my adoptive father is a Canadian. I am 27 years old and have 5 children of my own. Would love to be able to tell them about their heritage and where they come from.
