I am the daughter of Roseta Zamfir. I was born in Caracal in 1991 but my birth was registered in Tirgovista and my adoption papers were also processed in Tirgovista. Roseta is now living in Spain with my father and my two brothers. One of my brothers in 23 and one is 14. I do not know their names or the name of my father. Roseta’s parents are Florica and Anastasia Zamfir. Roseta had a brother named Stefan. Stefan gave 4 or 5 children up for adoption, including a set of twins. Roseta had another brother named Marin born 1959. Marin’s wife is named Sabina. They gave two children up for adoption. I have found one of those children in the US. and several children in Romania that they did not give up for adoption (Floree, Lina, Gheorghe, Maria). Roseta had another brother named Ion born 1966. Ion gave up one child for adoption who was 2 or 3 years old at the time. Roseta had another brother Gheorghe born 1970, and a sister Lina born 1972. As far as I know, neither of them had any children. Are you one of the children who was given up for adoption? Have you located your parents (my aunts and uncles) and do you have any info to share? I can share the names and locations of the people I have found so far.
