I was born Valentin Dumitru on December 16th 1996, in Giurgiu town, Giurgiu County Romania. My name now is Anthony Valentin DeVito. I was born to Cristina Daniela Dumitru and her birth date is November 11th, 1967. She lived with her mother, Elena Dumitru and her grandmother Maria Voicila. Their address was 41 Plugari street in Giurgiu.I had a brother named Alexandru Dumitru who was 3 years older and had already been adopted. My parents gave up their rights in a statement dated August 21st 1998, and I was placed in the 0-3 orphanage in Giurgiu. I was legally adopted by American parents in June of 1999 but remained in the orphanage until July of 1999 when my new parents came to take me to my new home. I hope to reconnect with any birth relatives that may also wish to reconnect. I am grateful to my birth mother for making a very hard decision that enabled me to have a good life with my adopted family, I have been loved as their own.
