My parents had a baby boy born either end of Jan or beggining of Feb 1985. My mother said the boy was around 2 kg when born but didn’t show any other complications. Her doctors told her that the baby died shortly and then cremated and was advised to go home and have other children as they were young. But my mother saw the baby during the night in the incubator alive and well and aparently looking like my dad. She was sent home and was forbidden to come back. In that time (communism) it was nothing more she can do. My parents went home and had another 3 children myself being the first one. But she told me all the time this story and believes he was sold in the hospital probably under a different name. My mum named the boy Ionut Neagu. My maiden name is Neagu. He was born in the Barlad or Birlad town’s hospital. I decided to look for my brother as I recently became a mum myself and can’t imagine the joy she will have if she will get in contact with her first born. I believe he was adopted internationally as she wasn’t given any birth certicate or death certificate whatsoever so she didnt get the chance to register him either. So probably he is living under a completely different name. I really do hope to find him.
