Here is what I know: My Father was adopted from a Orphanage in Newport, RI and was adopted in Newport, KY to a family named Fred W. Diehm. What year he was adopted I do not know I found a Census 1940 that had him listed in Newport, KY. What I have find out his father was William Henry Fredrick Corbin B1897-D1977 Mother was Phoebe Jane Wiggins, Wilcox Perkins Corbin Born 1897 died 1977. My father had a sister who was also adopted she was born in 1917. Not sure what last name his Mother gave.
