I am a 57 year old white male that was born on 8/28/1961 in Providence. My birth name was Lawrence Richard Brown but was later changed. My birth mother was Francine J. Brown (now deceased). My birth mother was only 15 when I was born. I was sent to the Sophia Little Home in Providence and was adopted out several months later. I am searching for my biological father, who would be around 76 or 77 now, and his family. I believe that father is of Italian decent and was probably living in Providence or Cranston at that time.
