My uncle‚ Mervyn Leslie St Clair of Brisbane‚ conducted a relationship (or was possibly married to) Margaret Joan Hansen and they had a son‚ Noel John around 1948-9. Margaret convinced Mervyn to adopt the child out. After he signed the papers his family were furious that they had lost all contact with him. It has been a mystery what has happened to him and I’m hoping to find out. The only Margaret Joan Hansen I can find was married since 1944 and that may be the reason she was keen to have him adopted out. She died in 2012.
