I was adoped out to Carmel and John Boyes around April 1951 from the Wooloowin Childrens home. My natural mother was Valmay Mavis Armstrong and I believe my father was of assyrian extract with a name like sharbelle perhaps but I have no records at all of my natural father - this is all only hear say about him. Apparently there was a court order issued at the time to stop the adoption and I would like to find out about this which may lead me to more information in particular about my father. I am aware that my natural mother is now dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated. regards Ian Boyes
