I am seeking information on my grandmother’s informal adoption. She was born in Mar 1928 and was adopted Dec 1928. There is a possibility that this adoption took place out of the Catherine Booth Hospital in Montreal. She was immediately baptized Catholic at St. Patrick’s parish in Montreal. Her birth parents were Meta Forbes and Gladney Crompton. Her adoptive parents were Isabelle and Frank Finn. All parents are certainly deceased, but perhaps there are people who remember Meta and Gladney.
