My husband was adopted from Quebec Canada in 1966. His original/birth name was JOSEPH LUC ROY We have been working with Centre Jeunesse Montreal and when the new law was passed we received the name of his birth mother (Lucille Berthelot), her bday and unfortunately the date she passed. He was also told he had a younger brother who was shipped abroad but were unable to give his name. Since we found her name I bought him a "my heritage" DNA kit for his birthday. We are currently awaiting the results for this. We have also tried searching for any other answers but have still come up short. Most of the siblings listed on the genealogy list are marked private. If he could find any other people who have any other kind of information that could help or even point us/home in the right direction.
