I am looking on behalf of a DNA cousin match I made on Ancestry. He was born in June 1946 and was given up for adoption at birth the adoption was done in Quebec. Unfortunately, his adopted parents refused to give him any information about his birth parents, and they denied that he was adopted up until their death. He currently resides in Alabama, and can’t make the trip to Quebec to find his adoption papers. Upon comparing our DNA matches on Ancestry, we know that his biological grandparents are Adélard Touchette and Ida Lamoureux from Rockland, ON. We think one of the Touchette sons was his father, but we haven’t ruled out that his mother might actually be the Touchette link. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated.
