My mom‚ Heather Ann Britt‚ born May 31‚ 1957‚ of John (Jack) and Marjorie Britt‚ of Saint John‚ NB‚ gave her son up for adoption in Montreal in most likely 1972 or 1973‚ but perhaps in ‘75 or ‘76. I believe she was allowed to stay with the baby for a few days before adopting him. I believe she got to name him and named him a friend name‚ Marcel or Michel. She likely had some affiliation with a Catholic Church or its programs‚ perhaps for unwed mothers. She stayed with or had contact with her aunt Anne Levasseur (Britt) who lived in Montreal at the time. Unfortunately‚ my mom passed away and was my only immediate family member. Would love to find my half brother. Photo is my Mom‚ Heather.
