I am searching for the birth family of my deceased grandmother, Marie Laurette Dufour born September 1, 1927. She was an only child to Angelina Cardinal and Wilfrid Dufour. She was aware she was adopted and upon her father’s death she returned to Canada from Florida to attend to the funeral and personal matters. Her adoption papers were kept in the home but she was never able to locate them. It was rumored among family that Wilfrid was her biological father and that her biological mother was a young woman. Whom is a mystery. Looking for any information on her adoption to solve a family mystery. She looks so much like Wilfrid the story is believable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
