I was adopted through the St Hyacinthe Diocese and with the aid of Reverend Father Palmer..apparently my birth mother was 16 at time and father was much older 28 I believe ..my last name may or may not of been Bernier and my mothers name may or may not have been Diane....I have been told 2 versions..one that I was in orphanage when adopted at 6 mths the other was they picked me up on the farm in St Hyacinthe. My grandmother handed me over...thats where the Bernier name comes in...my baptism cert shows I was baptized 3 days after my birth and my adoptive parents and their friends (my godparents) names and signatures are on cert..so I find it hard to believe I was adopted from an orphanage at 6mths old when my docs show this info.
