My adopted mother’s boss new the obstetrician Dr portnuff in Montreal where i was born on Feb 25, 1959 I believe at Montreal Jewish General, the adoption was private not through an agency. My understanding is the biological mother stayed at the home of Dr. Portnuff but that is debatable. As a child I was very ill and my adoptive parents tried any means to get biological information to see if it was a hereditary disease, at that time but were unsuccessful. I have just had my DNA done through Ancestry.
