I was adopted approximately 2-4 months after birth‚ in Lancaster‚ Pennsylvania. I was born at 9:51 am at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Adoption agency was Catholic Social Services out of Harrisburg. My parent’s names who adopted me were Donna and Thomas. My birth mother was 15 when she had me. She is of Italian/English/Irish heritage‚ 5’2” tall‚ 105lbs with Brown hair and eyes with an Olive complexion and the family religion was listed as Protestant. My birth father is of Irish/German heritage 5’7” tall‚ 110lbs‚ fair complexion with red hair and hazel eyes. From what I understand‚ he out of the picture. Whether or not this was by choice or not‚ I am not aware. My birth mother’s side of the family listed hypertension in their medical history. I was told my birth mother loved to read and roller skate. I love reading‚ but didn’t pick up the knack for roller skating (haha). When I was in 10th grade the adoption agency reached out to my parents and informed them that my birth mother wanted to pass on information‚ concerning the possibility of me having Myotonic Dystrophy. I was tested‚ and am happy to say that I am in the clear. My mother told me before she passed away that I had at least five half-siblings. Not sure if my birth mother or family are still in the Lancaster or Harrisburg area‚ but wanted to reach out and say “hello” and that if you are willing to make contact via this website or e-mail‚ I would appreciate it. I’m not looking or wanting anything‚ other than to close the loop on where I came from and thank my birth mother for the decision she made‚ although I’m sure it was a hard one.
