My daughter was adopted in November 1992. She was born at the former Williamsport Hospital and adopted through Eckels adoption agency (now closed). She was first placed with a family via a private adoption through a lawyer‚ which then for whatever reason Children and Youth removed her and contacted her birth mother Lisa. She then chose us via the adoption agency. She was first named Amanda and then we changed her name to Melissa. We don't know where her birthmother is. Birthfather was Puerto Rican and named Alberto‚ and he had 4 older daughters. Their relationship was brief. Any help would be appreciated.
