Just trying to find biological parents. I was born Tina Marie Bickhart in Mount Holly, NJ but do not have my original birth certificate. The adoption created one with my legal name and so I assume that is my birthday but not sure 9-22-71. I was told my Mom was Linda Bickhart born around 1951, she was married to Richard Bickhart born around 1947. She said he was my father, he said she was cheating and he was not. She had my brother Rick at 18 who was raised by his aunt and uncle and did not know any of this until his later teenage years. She had me at 20 from what I heard. I was taken from her by the state in around 1973 and put up for adoption and was adopted in PA in 1974 after foster care. Linda may have married a man named Paul Essman around 1980 in Reno Nevada but that did not last. SHe rented a room in a trailer in San Jose CA. in the early to mid 90’s. I received a letter from someone there stating she died at the age of 45 around 1996 I believe. I have moved a few times and can not locate all the paperwork and research I had done previously. I did speak to Linda who I think was my Mom when I was 25 (I am 49 now) I was living at my parents after a divorce with my oldest daughter at the time so it made communication difficult and awkward because I did not want to upset my parents. I was told her maiden name was BYE from Newtown/warminster area. I just wish I had my paperwork. I have been using the ancestry website to try and find family but everyone it connects me to does not have the last name Bickhart or Bye. So now I feel lost and since Richard Bickhart claimed he left my Mom and was not my father at the court proceedings I believe him. The people I am DNA matched to seem to be related from 3 different families which seems odd and confusing at this time. Hopefully I can figure something out since a lot of people have passed in every avenue I try to take. Thank you for reading this if you got this far. Tina
