I gave birth to a daughter on September 22, 1969. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Rolling Hill Hispital. That is all the information I know about her. I got pregnant when I was 19 years old. When I told my parents my mother became very upset and I was a disgrace to the family. My mother never asked me what I wanted to do. She made all of the plans. I was sent away to live with an older woman who lived on a farm. I had no idea where I was. I was told that I was going to have the baby and the baby was going to be put up for adoption. I asked my mother if I could keep the baby and she said, "No". When I went into labor I was brought to rolling Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When I arrived at the hospital the doctor met me there and I was immediately put to sleep. When I awoke I was in a hospital room, but it was not on the maternity floor. I did ask my mother what I had and she said a baby girl. Before I left the hospital I insisted that I wanted to see my baby. My mother finally gave in and they brought her into me so I could feed her. She was so beautiful. The day I had to leave the hospital she was swaddled in blankets so I could not see her. I left of the blanket away from her face and kissed her and told her that I will always love her.I stood there and had to hand her over to the lawyers and walk out the door. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. I would love to find her just to see if she is OK and see if she had a good life. I have never stop thinking about her from that day and every day after. As I stated above I know very little information about her. I want to find her and if anybody can tell me how that can happen I will be the happiest woman alive. I love you my firstborn and I hope that someday we can be reunited.
