I was born at st. Joseph’s hospital in Elmira. I believe the nuns kept me there until I was adopted at 6 weeks. A dna services says a woman named Bertha Merritt could be my aunt but I can’t locate her. Both of my adoptive parents have passed away and I am just looking for a little information on birth family. I don’t need anything from them except to satisfy curiosity and thought they may be curious as well
