I gave up my daughter at birth in 1994. I wanted to name her after me‚ Halima. The adoptive parents‚ I was told by the social worker for the agency (Option of Adoption‚ wanted to name her Mary Jane‚ but would also include my name. I was able to exchange letters and photos for a short while until the agency shut down. I had no warning and no way to remain in contact. I lost all traces of tangible contact information in storage years ago. I always think about my little Halima and pray she is well‚ happy‚ and loved. She was born at The Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia‚ PA. I don’t remember her birthdate- only the year being 1994. The day and month I put above are not correct‚ but I couldn’t leave them blank.
