Born in York‚ Pennsylvania June 4‚ 1970 at YORK HOSPITAL. A CLOSED adoption as newborn‚ and I have had extreme difficulty finding anything about my lineage over 40+ years. I’m 55* now. MY PARENTS are the late DONALD M. KEEFER and JANE E. (LEHR) KEEFER. I have been a "KEEFER" all of my life‚ Erich (or Eric) Keefer. There was a private attorney involved with this adoption in 1970‚ and I believe the adoption finalized December 1970. I’ve never been provided information‚ only what my (adoptive)parents had shared with me. I’d like to find my heritage/my blood-family lineage. Particularly to potentially shed some light as to family health issues with different diseases‚ as I have and have lived with most of my life. It has been important to me most my life‚ however I now would really like some answers. My health is the pushing force and my adoptive parents both are gone. My parents who raised me always left my option to find my birth-parents while growing up‚ and even as an adult. But because of the love provided all of my years‚ I hadn’t felt that necessary to find birth-parents‚ until recently. I am/was an only child adopted JUNE 1970 and born in the YORK HOSPITAL. I HAVE NO INFO ON MY BIO PARENTS- other than my birth-mother was a very young teen at approximately 16 years old. My health is very important to me and finding birth-parents would hopefully give me answers‚ I hope‚ and a closure to the emptiness of never knowing. MY HEALTH IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON- please help me. I was raised in YORK‚ PA all my life.
