My grandfather was adopted and was born on 8/20/1920 as Louis Green. HIs mother Virginia Green gave him up for adoption at age of 8 months. He was a ward of the Philadelphia Dept. of health and charities(now known as the dept. of human services) and was in foster care with the children’s aid society of pa(in Philadelphia, pa) from 6-17-21 until 7-10-39. He lived with his foster parents mr and mrs elam stoltzfus for 12 years and assumed their name during this time although legal adoption did not occur. Mr. Louis Stoltzfus/Green’s birthdate was assigned by the Dept. of health and charities as 8-20-1920. -This was my grandfather who has now passed. My family found the above information in my grandmother’s belongings when she passed. My father has two other brothers and we would like to know if there are any other family members as we never found out about his biological parents. thank you
