We are searching for my father’s birth parents. His name at birth was Cullen Berry. He was born on July 16‚ 1927. His biological mother’s name was May M Shaffer Slimm and his biological father’s name was Clarence Jefferson Berry. On April 5‚ 1928 his mother relinquished Cullen Berry for adoption. At the time of the adoption‚ Clarence Berry had died of unknown causes. He was adopted by Luke and Katheryn Gring in May of 1929 in Berks County‚ Franklinville‚ Pa. My dad was not aware that he was adopted until his adoptive mother died in 1960. He found adoption papers from the court while he was cleaning out her home in Cheltenham‚ Pa. Unfortunately‚ our dad passed away in 2014. But my siblings and I have been trying to find his family for quite some time. We would love to get to know you.
