I am searching for my birth mother. I was adopted in Philadelphia‚ Pennsylvania in 1967 (DOB June 5‚ 1967). The only information that the state of PA has provided me is that my birth mother was 28 and Catholic at the time of my birth - they also said "father unknown". My mother told me as she recalled that the lawyer who arranged the adoption said the woman was of Scandanavian dissent (which makes sense as I have physical characteristics consistent with that heritage). I was born in a Center City Philadelphia hospital. My only real interest is finding out my bloodline heritage and medical history information. If my birth mother does not wish to meet me‚ I understand‚ but I would really like to get that information.
