I gave birth to a baby boy in Memorial Hospital in Johnstown Pennsylvania. Catholic Charities left with my baby from the hospital. It was July 1975 I’m a little confused about the day it was like 25,26,27,28 something like that. He was 10 pounds. My name was Patty Kyle at that time & the father was Warren Myers he did sign the papers. I got married 6 months later & wanted my baby back I called catholic charities & they told me he was adopted at birth into a good home. I could not see him or get him back. I thought I had a time period. But they said no since I already signed the papers. I hired a private detective through omitrace & they could not find him. I did my own search & called the county courthouse & a lady told me that his records were there, she couldn’t release the information to me but if the private detective hire a lawyer they could get them. I told the detective that but he never got them I paid a lot of money for nothing. Very disappointing! I really need to find him I’m in my sixties now & hes 43 going to be 44 in July.
