Hi - My father was adopted by Paul and Dorothea Crosby of Ridley Park‚ PA. from what we have been told‚ a couple of months after the adoption‚ the birth parents wanted their son back and took the matter to court. there was a hearing in the courthouse in Media PA (Chester County) and the court ruled in favor of the adoptive parents. We have been told that my father was the 10th child of a local Philadelphia police officer and his wife. they were of Irish decent.
