I am trying to find the birth mother of my mother who passed at the age of 64 in 1996. Due to the fact she died from Ovarian cancer it is important to find any genetic similarities to help determine 1. is there any other type of cancer in the family. If Ovarian, then this can be passed down to children both female and male. My mothers adopted name was Eleanor Jane Degan (Goodman-married), She was born June 12, 1931as BOBBIE JANE SNIDER and was adopted on Feb 8, 1932 by Gus and Bertha Degen of West Chesterfield, Pennsylvania, in the municipal court of Philadelphia County # 320 The clerk was John M Scott. The Judge was John E. Walsh I am sure by now, all parties are deceased as it has been 21 years since my mother passed at the age of 64. I have done a dna test with ancestry.com and found matching with the name of snider who live in Virginia. We just dont know how the dots connect. please help. Thank you
