Search for birth parent or any information on "Variety Club" of Pittsburgh adoption in 1939. Baby boy Michael was born October 27‚ 1938 and became a "Variety Club" baby and adopted in Oct/Nov of following year‚ 1939. This is all the info I have except for a letter dated Nov. 1939 sent to John H. Harris at the Wm Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh thanking him and his organization for allowing Michael to be adopted. My grandfather James D. Wilson wrote the letter‚ the boy Michael‚ is my father. Any information on adoptions through the Variety Club in 1938-1939 would be greatly appreciated.
