Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia, has a death certificate on record for him dating back to May 15th, 2006, with cause of death listed as liver cancer. His sister, Sonja Moorehead, retired from State Farm in 2014 and lives in Jackson, Michigan. His son, Jonathan Smith, is a corrections officer who lives in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
