I was born in Allegheny County, PA in July 1978. I was placed into foster care on 12-22-78 and was formally adopted by my foster parents on 06/03/1981. My mother was 37 when I was born, and as far as I know, her only child. She had dropped out of school in the 10th grade and had health problems. I know her name was Elizabeth, the last name I’m unsure of spelling. Sosa, Sochia, Socha, or something similar. I’m not sure if she was married to my birth father. All I know about him is he was 38 when I was born, and at some point died of an overdose. I do have very little information on my mother’s parents, brother, and sister, but only health history.
