My father was born to my grandmother’s daughter, Dorothy. He recently passed and I have been searching for his adoption records. We believe my grandmother adopted him from her own daughter and raised him as her own. We know he was enrolled in school and that his birth certificate was changed during this time. I am searching for any information as to whom his father might be. John Francis Valek (His name was altered possibly) b. to Dorothy Mae Kuehn 3.17.1945 (Date may also be altered for school) I am not sure if state of birth can be altered. I am sending an inquiry to the birth branch to see if there is a second birth certificate.
