Mother of the child was Beulah Ruth Sunderland‚ born in 1922 in Oliver Township‚ Mifflin County‚ PA. Became pregnant while living in neighboring Wayne Township‚ Mifflin County‚ PA. The child was probably born at home in Wayne Township.. The baby was born while my father was in the service‚ 1945 or 1946. I am told that Beulah's mother Maud Estella Rhodes Sunderland indicated a desire to rear the child‚ but she was too late. Then as it turned out‚ Maud became suddenly ill and died 12 Mar 1946
