DNA from my father shows ancestry that does not match who he said his parents were. My dad‚ potentially adopted name is William Charles Allman. Parents were indicated as William Allman and Mary Jane Allman maiden name Jones. They lived in Scranton but switched back and forth to the Newark/Union area of New Jersey. DNA is indicating Jewish Polish/Galacia/Ukraine/Lithuanian/Hungarian and Irish ancestry. I have 23&Me DNA services and one brother and sister also have DNA in 23&Me and my mother submitted hers as well. I am getting 2nd cousins that trace to Scranton/wilkes Barre of Pennsylvania area with relatives alive today so I traced names back up to where my father should be names like Rabbi Zalman Baurer‚ William Schneck‚ Nathan Schneck changed name to Smith‚ William Smith‚ Harry Zwass‚ Dr. Benjamin Baurer‚ Sylvia Bernstein
