In 1977‚ when I was 16‚ my father told me that my mother became pregnant as a teenager by the boy she was dating (possibly named David La Rosa)‚ gave birth‚ and was forced by her parents to give the boy up for adoption (I was told that the father was relieved to be off the hook). She went to high school in Royal Oak (1955 - 1957)‚ Michigan‚ then graduated from Troy High School in 1958. I am not sure if the baby was born in the Detroit area‚ or if her mother sent her "home" to Philadelphia‚ Pennsylvania to give birth‚ but I believe the child was born in 1957 or early 1958‚ most likely in Philadelphia. My mothers name at that time would have been either Barbara Bidwell‚ or Barbara Nahikian.
