Trying to find my mother’s sister. Her name at birth was Bonita Mae Bowman. Sometime when she was small, possibly about 2 yrs old, she was placed in foster care with a couple in Cleona, Pa. She was born in Lebanon, PA to Mae W. Bowman. She has 2 half sisters who were older & were placed in an orphanage. My mother will not search on her own because she is afraid of intruding on Bonny’s life & she may not want anything to do with her. My mother is a very private person but said if Bonnie would want to meet her, she would welcome that! My mom believes they were all taken from my grandmother back then but never asked her after being released from the orphanage at age 18. We have reason to believe Bonnie’s name at one time was Zavada or something similar to that. The couple who was her foster parents eventually adopted her. We have reason to believe Bonnie may live in the Palmyra, PA area now.
