Looking for my half brother. He was born in June/July of ’76/’77. The birth mother claims to not remember the exact date. Her age at the time of birth was 15 or 16 years old. The birth father‚ my dad‚ was 19 or 20. I was told by the maternal grandmother that he had red hair when he was born. I was told that the mother stayed in the home for pregnant teens and that my brother was adopted out of Catholic Charities in Erie‚ Pa. A rumor (maybe truth?) was told to the maternal grandmother that he may have been adopted to a teacher. I have been searching for my brother since 11/25/2004 which is when I found out I had one. I made a plea on WSEE 35 for information and haven’t had any luck whatsoever. At 1st my driving force was selfishness on my part wanting my brother but now it is to pass along our (your 3 sisters) medical history. I only have one member of the mothers family willing to participate in the reunion (whether it be just for info or to actually meet). Most importantly‚ you need to know your medical history. I have used both ancestry.com and 23andme.com for DNA research to no avail. Please contact me as soon as you can.
