Searching for my daughter’s Birth Mother. Her name is Marilyn and she attended Penn State University at the time she met Pramote, the father. After the baby was born she surrendered her to Catholic Social Services. The father and I married and adopted her in January of 1980. We have had no contact since she placed the baby in my arms and walked away. Recently I lost my own Mother and it brought home that my daughter has another whole family out there somewhere. I cannot withhold the information that she,was adopted from my daughter any longer. However, I am reluctant to tell her before I find out if the birth mother wants any contact. I don’t want my daughter hurt! She is the apple of my eye and I love her with my whole heart.
