I was born August 22, 1948 at Abington Memorial Hopital, Abington, Montgomery County, PA. I believe that my adoption was handled by the Red Feather Agency. I’ve been told that my birth mother is of German descent and that she kept me with her for the first 5-6 months of my life. Her last name began with a G and she named me Sharon. She also personally handed me to my adopted mother so my mothers actually met. I was adopted in Doylestown, PA in the winter of 1949. I grew up in a wonderfully loving, caring home and my parents always told me how much my birth mother must have loved me because she gave me up so that I would have a better life than she was able to provide for me.
