Miguel Mateo O’Connor was born at Providence hospital in Portland‚ OR on August 10‚ 2004. His birth mother’s name at that time was Tia O’Connor. Miguel‚ now named Alex‚ was adopted through DHS in 2004. I’m Alex’s mom‚ Laurie‚ and I am helping him try to locate his birth siblings. We had an open adoption with his birth mother but have had no contact with her since 2004. Alex is interested in connecting with birth sibling(s) by written‚ phone or in-person communication. We continue to live in Portland‚ OR. Alex (Miguel) has birth siblings named Ashley and Roberto (at birth) who were adopted by a family in Portland‚ OR. We believe that Roberto is about 2 years older than Alex. Their adoption was done through DHS. Alex (Miguel) has other birth siblings named Jamie‚ Pablo and Rose. All siblings except Rose were born prior to 2004. We believe that Tia went to Marshall High School in Portland in the 1990s.
