I am in search of my brother who was likely born between 1943 and 1944. His birth mother was very young. Biological birth mother’s maiden name is Bowers. Married name Smith. Was likely born in a military hospital near Portand? Only speculation as the bio father was in the Navy and listed residence was "Receiving Barracks" in Portland Oregon. Bio mother could have had multiple last names as she was married multiple times. It is hard to track due to the numerous last names that she had. Smith, McGoffin, Baker, White, just to name a few. If ANY of this sounds familiar to you, please contact me. Even if you feel the chances are slim, it is worth a shot as my brother would be in his 70’s now. I want to find him before time runs out.
