I am looking for my grandma’s older brother who was given up for adoption shortly after he was born. Freda L. Arnold had a baby with my great grandfather‚ Donald Waymire. He was unaware that she was pregnant until after the adoption took place. We think the adoption took place in 1933 at the latest‚ but possibly in the late 1920’s. Freda and my great grandfather were both from the Bend‚ Oregon area. From the stories we’ve heard‚ her parents were angry and sent her away to Colorado to live with other relatives (possibly on an Indian Reservation) until the baby was born and the adoption was complete.
