I was born 01-16-1945 in Portland, Oregon, and adopted within 3 days by Ken and Pauline Tracewell. The adoption was reportedly handled through a Catholic adoption agency in Portland. A judge read my sealed records to me and identified my biological mother as Annie Maude Linville. My biological father was identified on my birth certificate only as a 44 year old man of Irish(?) descent. I am searching for the identity of my biological father. A half-brother on my mother’s side, 5 years older than me, told me he, my mother, and her boyfriend lived for a time in Prospect, Oregon, when he was around 4 to maybe 7 years old. He went to school there, has old report cards. While his name is Raymond Joseph Brabo, his report cards showed his name as Ray McFall. The man they were living with was Peter McFall. My mother became pregnant with me in 1944, apparently while living with Mr McFall. Thus, I suspect he was my biological father. I have an old photo of the three of them together on the grass in a city park in Prospect. During the time they lived there, my half-brother has told me he and a young friend of his were injured when a blasting cap they were playing with exploded, and his friend lost several fingers. He was probably treated at a local hospital. I don’t know if Prospect had a hospital. If not, the nearest hospital would have probably been in Medford, Oregon. I wonder if it would still have records of such. My half-brother was not seriously injured, probably not treated. I don’t know the name of his young friend. I wonder if a local area newspaper would have carried a story regarding the incident. My half-brother believes our mother had worked as a house keeper in the Hood River / The Dallas area of north central Oregon. He also wondered if he had heard something about Peter McFall living there also, possibly as a member of the family my mother worked for. That is all I know about the possible identity of my biological father.
