My son was born prematurely at what is now Oregon Health & Science University in Portland‚ Oregon and was transferred to Doernbecker Children’s Hospital as "Baby Boy LaDuke." The adoption agency involved was Albertina Kerr Charities in Portland. I was gravely ill at the time and never saw or held him. I have no information on whether the child survived or was adopted.
