My birth mom stayed at Waverly’s Children’s Home during her pregnancy‚ and I was born at White Shield Hospital in Portland Oregon on August 30‚ 1970. The only information I know is that birth mom was 5"3‚ blonde hair‚ blue eyes and German. She was 15 years old and was not allowed to stay with parents after becoming pregnant. I was told that she was raped by a dark skinned man. Birth’s mom’s Father drank a lot‚ I only put that in here because it was told to me and I don’t know why that would be one of the only things told to me unless it was somehow important to know. My adopted name on my birth certificate is Brooke Danielle Unruh. Waverly Children’s Home was also associated with The Salvation Army‚ and The Boy’s and Girl’s Club. I was the first baby the doctor delivered and he later had an medical office in Gresham‚ Oregon‚ but I do not remember his name. I would like to give permission for any confirmed family members to contact me including birth mom‚ birth dad‚ siblings‚ or any other related family member‚ to meet with.
